Read MoreIt is with great sadness to the world and to the coffee industry that we learned over the weekend of the passing of a truly brilliant thinker and inspiration to the coffee industry, the great and powerful Gilberto Baraona @pacamaracoffee. We recently spent a couple of hours on the podcast talking about his legacy and how, what he called “the black swan” - COVID-19, would impact that legacy. It was one of my favourite conversations ever on the podcast. On June 26, that Black Swan claimed this champion's life and his absence will be noticed forever. Gilberto’s strength and deep passion for coffee is his legacy and will live on forever through all of us that he inspired. RIP to a wonderful, inspirational giant of our industry! We wanted to re-present this conversation of just a couple of months as a way of honouring him. We offer our deepest condolences to his family.
